Sugar Bakery & Cafe was founded 2006. In 2015, after graduating with a Culinary Arts degree and a second degree in Specialty Desserts & Bread, Quynh La started as a baker at Sugar Bakery with a 10-year plan of starting her own bakery.
A few months into working there, she loved it so much she decided she wanted to buy Sugar Bakery. Serendipitously the owners were looking to sell at the same time. On January 1, 2016 Quynh took possession of of Sugar Bakery and her 10-year plan became reality (and a one-year plan instead).
Baking is Quynh's passion. She loves to create things that make people smile and loves greeting customers, new and old, each morning.
When she's not baking she likes spending time with her husband and toddler daughter.
