Approximately 2-3 shifts per week. Must be able to work on occasional Saturdays. We are closed Sundays.
Our baristas run the front lines of our shop, not only making fabulous espresso drinks, but also selling our delicious pastry products. The barista should provide every customer with personalized service. The position requires both a high level of attention to detail as well as the ability to quickly shift between multiple types of task. Great baristas must also have a passion for learning and the flexibility to share responsibilities with other team members to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the bakery.
- Knowledge of espresso techniques using a manual machine, including proper milk foaming techniques.
- Maintains a clean and presentable store front and retail display
- Follows current procedures to maintains accurate records of daily inventory, and sales data.
- Communicates with other staff members including the baking team and works effectively as a team
- Provides excellent customer service with a positive and helpful attitude.
